Dealing with Ascension Symptoms

Are you feeling tired, anxious, or disconnected from your old self? Do you have vivid dreams, strange sensations, or heightened intuition? If so, you might be experiencing ascension symptoms.

Ascension symptoms are signs that you are going through a spiritual awakening and raising your vibration to a higher level of consciousness. Ascension is the process of shifting from the 3D (third dimension) reality, which is based on physicality, duality, and separation, to the 5D (fifth dimension) reality, which is based on spirituality, unity, and love.

Ascension symptoms can affect your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. They are not a disease or a disorder, but rather a natural response to the changes that are happening in your body and to the planet. Ascension symptoms are different for everyone, depending on where you are in your expansion journey.

Some of the most common ascension symptoms are:

  • Physical: You may experience headaches, body aches, fatigue, insomnia, changes in appetite, weight fluctuations, skin rashes, allergies, flu-like symptoms, or increased sensitivity to light, sound, and energy. These are signs that your body is detoxifying and adjusting to the higher frequencies of light that are entering your cells and DNA.

  • Mental: You may experience confusion, unexplained fear, forgetfulness, brain fog, difficulty concentrating, or feeling overwhelmed. These are signs that your mind is releasing old patterns of thinking and beliefs that no longer serve you and creating new neural pathways that align with your higher self.

  • Emotional: You may experience mood swings, anxiety, depression, anger, fear, sadness, or joy. These are signs that your emotions are surfacing and being cleared from your subconscious and cellular memory. You may also feel more empathic and compassionate towards yourself and others.

  • Spiritual: You may experience increased intuition, psychic abilities, synchronicities, deja vu, lucid dreams, visions, or contact with your spirit guides and angels. These are signs that your spiritual gifts are awakening and that you are connecting with the higher realms of existence.

Ascension symptoms can be challenging and uncomfortable at times, but they are also an opportunity for growth and transformation. Here are some ways to quickly move through these symptoms and support your ascension process:

  • Meditate: Meditation is one of the best ways to calm your mind, relax your body, and raise your vibration. Meditation helps you to access your inner wisdom and guidance and to release any negative thoughts and emotions that may be blocking your energy flow.

  • Breathe: Breathing deeply and consciously is another way to balance your nervous system and oxygenate your cells. Breathing helps you to release stress and tension and to connect with the present moment. You can also use breathing techniques such as pranayama or breathwork to activate your energy centers or chakras.

  • Hydrate: Drinking plenty of water is essential for flushing out toxins and keeping your body hydrated. Water also helps to conduct electricity and enhance communication between your cells. There are a few ways to enhance the effect of the water  you consume. 

    • Set an intention for your water and focus that intention into the water before you drink it for at least 30 seconds. Water responds and will restructure itself to your intention. 
    • You can also add lemon juice or apple cider vinegar to your water to alkalize your body and boost your immune system.

  • Rest: Getting enough sleep and rest is vital for healing and rejuvenation. Sleep helps you to integrate the new energies and information that you receive during the day and to process any unresolved issues that may come up in your dreams. Resting also allows you to listen to your body’s needs and honor its rhythms.

    A quick nap or even just taking a few mins just to close your eyes and breathe can reset your whole nervous system.

  • Exercise: Moving your body is another way to release stagnant energy and increase blood circulation. Exercise helps you to strengthen your muscles and bones and to improve your mood and mental clarity. You can choose any form of exercise that you enjoy as long as it involves moving the body.

  • Body work: As  your body upgrades it can be left feeling tense and stiff. Having some body work done by a massage therapist, chiro, physio or the like can be extremely helpful is shifting some of the stuck density. If your budget does not allow you can always ask your partner to assist with some gentle massage, doing simple stretches or working with a tennis ball to work out the knots are things that I have used.
  •  Energy work: Releasing density in your body by working on stuck emotions from past trauma and fees with someone who is skilled in doing so will be one of the main keys to your growth and expansion and in turn, less ascension symptoms.   • Managing headaches: I mention this one separately as this is what I struggle with most often. Sometimes a headache will hit me out of nowhere like I´ve had a fight with a frying pan and am seeing stars. Things that can help relieve the headaches are
    • Drinking water. Even adding some salt will help the water be absorbed into your body quicker and leave you feeling more hydrated. 
    • Gentle massage to relieve the pressure from your partner or you can do it yourself
    • Eating some Gomasio, which is activated sesame seeds, that are salty and can be helpful to provide some relief specifically to the head area. 
    • Going to the loo. Make sure your system is regular. If you are blocked up with food and are constipated, those toxins will be adding to the imbalance in your body. Adding chia or psyllium to your diet can help keep you regular.

  • Eat high vibe food: Eating foods that are live and have vitality is important for nourishing your body and supporting its functions. Foods that can support ascension include:
    • High-vibrational foods such as fruits, vegetables, herbs, sprouts
    • Fermented foods such as yogurt, kefir
    • Nuts and seeds such as flax, almonds
    • Foods rich in antioxidants such as berries, green tea
    • Foods rich in omega-3s such as walnuts, chia seeds

These foods help to increase the beneficial bacteria in your gut, which plays a key role in the gut-brain axis and affects your mood and cognition. They also help to balance your chakras , which are the energy centers of your body that regulate your physical, emotional, mental,and spiritual health.

You may want to avoid or limit foods that lower your vibration such as processed foods, refined sugars, alcohol, caffeine, or animal products that are not organic or ethically sourced. These foods can cause inflammation, acidity, and toxicity in your body and interfere with your energy flow.

Ascension symptoms are not something to be feared or avoided, but rather embraced and celebrated. They are a sign that you are evolving and expanding your consciousness and that you are aligning with your true self and your soul purpose. By taking care of yourself and following your intuition, you can ease your ascension symptoms and enjoy the journey of awakening to the new earth.
